Every year, Sunstone Montessori mounts the School’s annual fundraiser and gala event. This year, the Sunstone Gala and Auction will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the OHSU’s South Waterfront’s Center for Health and Healing. “Carnavale!” this year’s Venice-themed event is an opportunity for the community to support a quality Montessori education, celebrate our business and community partnerships, and yes, have a great party as well!

We reach out to friends, vendors, partners and most importantly, our families and alumni to help mount the event, solicit donations, and wrangle the myriad details necessary to deliver a high quality fun event and raise a significant portion of our annual contributed income. While tuition covers most expenses, Sunstone relies on fundraising to close the gap, and to maintain a modest scholarship fund for families unable to afford the full cost of a Sunstone Montessori education.

On behalf of our Board volunteers, professional Staff and our students and families, we appreciate your help in making this a success! Your tax-deductible contribution is welcome, and our Auction Committee members will ensure we steward your gift and that you receive the proper recognition for this purpose.
