Throughout its long and rich history, Sunstone Montessori School has provided families with an outstanding educational experience. Ideally located in a beautiful residential neighborhood, we are ten minutes from downtown Portland, and two blocks from the Willamette River Greenway. Our school is housed in the historic Terwilliger School building with a spacious campus featuring outdoor learning environments, a variety of ecological gardens, playgrounds, and a soccer field. Sunstone serves children from 16 months to 12 years of age, and is proud to have achieved the highest accreditation, Recognized School, by the Association Montessori Internationale – AMI/USA.
